Learning To Heal
Those suffering from Fibromyalgia pain want healing. We know that healing is a journey. Reading and searching for answers is learning to heal ourselves. At MyFMDay we consider the body as a whole and provide answers for the mind and spirit as well. We as humans can not separate our selves from the earth, and it’s bounty. “The greatest mistake physicians make is that they attempt to cure the body without attempting to cure the mind; yet the mind and the body are one and should not be treated separately!” said Plato. No system in the human body is exempt from the effects of the mind. Feelings, emotions, thoughts and attitudes literally affect our heart rate, blood pressure, muscle tension, respiratory rate, gastrointestinal function, hormonal balance, immune system and more. Even the amount of fibromyalgia pain you experience can be affected by the power of the mind.
